Part 1 broke the internet- well, at least your brand’s insights tab.
Since we published our February 2026 Instagram Trends Part 1, brands across skincare, food, fashion, and D2C have been sliding into our DMs with their reach numbers. Reels that were stuck at 500 views crossed 50K. Organically. No ads.
Part 2 is here because the feed isn’t slowing down and neither should you. Ten more trends. All decoded for Indian consumer brands. All actionable right now.
Let’s go.
Trend 1: Pick Your Colour
A carousel where 3-4 colour options are shown across slides, audiences pick the one that matches their vibe, personality, or preference. It’s swipeable, saveable, and endlessly shareable.
How to hop on: Map your brand’s colour palette or product range to moods, skin types, flavours, or aesthetics.
Best suited for: Beauty, fashion, home décor, food & beverage, gifting, lifestyle D2C.
Trend 2: Fake Mouth Talk
A person appears to be sleeping while their “mouth” talks through clever editing delivering a punchline or confession. Hilarious, scroll-stopping, and very India-coded right now.
How to hop on: Give your brand or customer a funny “sleep confession” midnight cravings, cart regret, skincare obsession. Keep the dialogue short and punchy.
Best suited for: Snack brands, beverages, fashion, personal care, youth-facing D2C.
Trend 3: I’m This Close To 🤏
A carousel using the 🤏 emoji as a “closeness meter” with relatable text across slides. Swipeable, funny, and deeply tag-a-friend content.
How to hop on: Write each slide as a customer truth. “I’m this close to buying the whole collection 🤏” or “I’m this close to finishing my serum… in 2 days 🤏”. Last slide = brand CTA.
Best suited for: All consumer categories. Especially powerful for brands with a loyal community.
Trend 4: “Faaaah” Trend
A viral audio made for that exact moment when something goes slightly wrong. Minor chaos. Maximum relatability. Brands using it with BTS mishaps are winning big.
How to hop on: Show a real (or dramatised) brand blunder, the sauce spill, the packaging goof, the 2 AM packing rush. Keep it light. Lean into imperfection.
Best suited for: Food & beverage, beauty, D2C brands, home & kitchen, artisanal labels.

Trend 5: “Do You Wanna Go Grab Matcha?” Audio Trend
Creators use the matcha invite audio to reveal their own version of “matcha” which is nothing like actual matcha. The gap between expectation and reality is the whole joke. In India, it’s being brilliantly localised.
How to hop on: Own your audience’s real world. “Your matcha? It’s a cutting chai with two sugars.” If your product is the everyday, local, real version of something aspirational this format is yours.
Best suited for: Chai, coffee, regional beverages, FMCG, snack brands, local-first D2C labels.

Trend 6: Trending Audio Reel
Some audios blow up so fast that even a simple product video paired with them gets massive reach. The audio IS the strategy this week.
How to hop on: Save this audio and align it with your brand’s energy. Shoot a clean, simple visual. Post fast trending audios have a short window.
Best suited for: Any brand with strong visuals and a flexible content team. Beauty, fashion, food, home décor.

Trend 7: Reveal with Trending Audio
The classic reveal format but synced to a trending audio for 10x the impact. New product, new packaging, new look, transformation. The beat drop = the reveal moment.
How to hop on: Pick your most exciting reveal right now. Build anticipation in the first half, sync the money shot to the audio’s peak. Minimal text — let the visual do the work.
Best suited for: Beauty launches, fashion drops, packaging revamps, food reveals, jewellery, home décor.
Here’s the trending audio for you.
Trend 8: “This Part of My Life” POV
A POV reel that starts with “this part of my life where…” and captures a moment big or small set to nostalgic or bittersweet audio. Brands use it to put their product inside their customer’s real life.
How to hop on: Write the line as your customer’s truth, not your brand’s pitch. “This part of my life” and your product lives in that moment naturally.
Best suited for: Skincare, wellness, food & beverage, fitness, home, fashion, daily ritual brands.
Here’s the trending audio for you.
Trend 9: 0.2-Second Reel
A reel so short it loops before you realise what you saw forcing instant replays. The algorithm counts every replay, so a well-executed 0.2-second flash can go far.
How to hop on: Flash ONE thing a product shot, a bold claim, a before-after, a price drop. It has to be compelling enough to make someone watch again. Forgettable = invisible.
Best suited for: Every consumer brand. Especially effective for launches, teaser campaigns, and scroll-stopping product reveals.
Trend 10: “This Must Be Heaven” Audio Reveal
A dreamy, euphoric audio paired with a beautiful reveal something so good it feels surreal. Brands are using it for their most aspirational content: new products, packaging, a finished look, a perfect plate.
How to hop on: Pair it with your most visually stunning reveal. Let it breathe. Slow it down. Trust the audio to carry the emotion your job is just to give it something beautiful to match.
Best suited for: Premium skincare, beauty, food & dessert brands, jewellery, home décor, gifting, wellness, fragrance.
Here’s the trending audio for you.
Conclusion
Ten trends. Ten ways to show up on the Indian Instagram feed before February ends.
The brands that win aren’t always the ones with the biggest budget they’re the ones who know why a format works and adapt it without losing their brand voice. Part 1 proved it. These ten will too.
